I’m a first year undergraduate student of the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, studying BSc Computer Science. I come from somewhere in Orkney in the north of Scotland that Facebook won’t let me set as my ‘hometown’, and I’m interested in web development and design. I originally started out with bad Flash animations (in some obscure piece of software that most certainly wasn’t the real Macromedia Flash) and one of those ‘free domain names’ with obscure TLDs, and I’d like to think I’m a bit better at it now.

Occasionally I do ‘less sciencey’ things, such as taking Advanced Higher English (which I passed) or going on a creative writing course at the Moniack Mhor creative writing centre (which I enjoyed greatly), but otherwise you’ll usually find me near a computer coding, listening to music, or anything else.
